Altus on the ‘Road to Digital Factory of the Future’

Altus, distributor of capital equipment for the electronics assembly industry in the UK and Ireland, will be demonstrating new technology and concepts for future state electronic manufacturing when the company attends the ‘Road to Digital Factory of the Future: Electronic Manufacturing’ later this month.

The event, taking place this Thursday, 23 November, at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry (pictured), will focus on technology including automation, measurement systems and digital manufacturing.

There will be demonstrations and presentation on new technology and how processes like simulation, advanced visualisation, automation and robotics can benefit electronic manufacturing processes.

Richard Booth, Altus’ managing director, said: “MTC was established to prove innovative manufacturing processes and technologies and houses some of the most advanced manufacturing equipment in the world, creating a high-quality environment for the development and demonstration of new technologies on an industrial scale.

“This event is an opportunity for Altus to showcase some of the advanced technology that we have available and offer advice and guidance on equipment that will be making a change to the electronics manufacturing industry.”

Altus will be supporting the event with a bench top stand in the MTC centre.
