Materials handling solutions provider, Briggs Equipment, is helping customer Keyline raise £100,000 for Prostate Cancer UK by sponsoring a team in their Jukebox Rally.

Nick King, Group Credit Director at the Travis Perkins Group, and co-driver Shaun Purrington of RK Harrison Financial Risk, will be going one step beyond the call of duty by taking part in the rally dressed as members of the band, Madness.

Organised by Keyline Builders Merchants (part of the Travis Perkins Group) and commencing today (26th June), 35 cars aptly fitting the theme ‘Jukebox’, will be heading for Barcelona from the company’s distribution depot in Northampton.

By completing the four day round trip and over 2,500 miles, they will be raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, and Briggs will be sponsoring the Madness car to the tune of £1,000.

Sally Baker, Marketing Manager at Briggs said: “We are delighted to support Keyline, a company with which we have a long standing relationship. Briggs is passionate about supporting charitable causes, and this is a very worthy cause. We wish the ‘Madness team’ all the best for their journey.”

Keyline began organising charitable rallies in 2010 and has so far raised an impressive £576,635.

Nick commented: “We are very grateful for the support shown by Briggs and we’re looking forward to the Barcelona rally. Progress can be found at www.justgiving.com/Nick-Keyline-Juke-Box_Rally.”
