New range of PPE including coveralls, safety goggles and half mask respirator provide personal protection in harsh environments
Conrad Business Supplies has begun stocking an extended range of personal protection equipment (PPE) from renowned supplier, 3M. Originally shown at the A+A Personal Safety show in Düsseldorf, the new range comprises coveralls, safety goggles and a half mask respirator.
The 3M Protective Coverall 4532+ is made from a robust 52gsm SSMMS material and has a new enhanced fit for improved wear. The coverall suit meets the requirements of PPE Directive Category III and incorporates a specialist coating that allows use in many applications where an SMS coverall is not generally suited. Available in blue or white and in sizes from small to 4XL the Protective Coverall 4532+ features knitted cuffs, a three-piece hood and a knitted gusset panel for improved wear and comfort.
The 3M SecureFit Safety Goggles 400-Series range of economy protective eyewear incorporates 3M pressure diffusion temple technology. These lightweight and frameless safety goggles feature a clear, anti-fog lens and are ideally suited to applications such as facility maintenance, grinding, electrical work, machine operations, sanding, demolition, painting, assembly or cleaning in the transportation, construction, manufacturing or oil & gas industries.
Also stocked by Conrad Business Supplies is the 3M 6500QL Half-Mask respirator. Designed with tough and dirty work environments in mind, these reusable half-masks have a strong body construction and a lightly textured silicone faceseal giving both durability and stability. Available in three sizes (S, M, L) the masks have the 3M bayonet connection system allowing connection to a broad range of twin lightweight filters. The QL version also incorporates a Quick Latch Drop Down mechanism.
