Dedicated to improving manufacturing efficiency

Efaflex at Interplas

Throughout the company's 40+-year heritage, Efaflex have been synonymous with designing and engineering class leading, high-speed doors for industrial and commercial applications. Many of the product’s key features such as its door opening speeds and integrated safety remain unrivalled even 25 years on. Efeflex will be showcasing its range of products at Interplas, September 26-28, NEC, Birmingham, Stand A60.

On show from this German manufacturer will be three doors, each designed with a specific role in mind, but all incorporating product innovation and the Efaflex build quality. First off, the EFA- STR high-speed turbo door with its patented spiral design and door opening speeds of four metres per second to accelerate the processes in a business. This champion of speed combines aesthetics with functionality. The contact-less, patented space-saving spiral design moves quietly and is virtually wear free. It is capable of up to 250,000 operating cycles per year, class 3 wind resistant, making this high-speed door ideal for extreme use. EFA- STR is one of the fastest vertically opening doors!

If you are looking to upgrade a premises then the EFA- SST could be a good fit. This high-speed insulated door has been developed in three variants for maximum appeal. It combines unrivalled noise insulation with door opening speeds of up to 2.5m/s and up to 250,000 load cycles per year. This ‘work horse’ of a door is class 2-4 wind resistant and achieves heat insulation of between 0.66 and 1.52W/m²K for reduced energy costs and maintaining constant temperature zones. It can be fitted with EFA-SCAN: one of the first laser scanners to be used in conjunction with a high-speed door to intelligently prevent false activation and reduce the potential for dangerous incidents.

The fabric roll-up EFA- SRT works as an internal door, suitable for use in processing areas where people form part of the logistics operation. This solution is an all-rounder and available in a variety of curtain colours and window (vision panel) options, all designed to keep temperature zones constant and reduce energy bills.
