In the 2011/2012 fiscal year, concluded at the end of June, the Trumpf Group generated sales of 2.325 billion Euro. In relation to the previous year’s sales of 2.024 billion Euro, this corresponds to an increase of 15 per cent. Orders received and the result also increased.
‘Last year TRUMPF achieved the highest sales in its history, beating its pre-recession record from fiscal 2007/08“, said TRUMPF President Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller as she presented the preliminary figures.
Trumpf also scored an increase in orders received during 2011/12. At 2.35 billion Euro, they lay above the previous year’s figure of 2.22 billion Euro. Profits rose too: „We are expecting a result higher than that of the previous year“, said Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller. In 2010/11 TRUMPF achieved a pre-tax result of 185 million Euros.
The final figures are due to be presented by Trumpf at the Annual Press Conference on October 18, 2012.
Over the past fiscal year TRUMPF created more than 1,000 new jobs. The company’s personnel figures rose to over 9,600.
