Allott and Associates, a B2B PR and marketing agency specialising in the logistics sector, is expanding its operation in preparation for a good post-Brexit agreement. The agency has completed a dynamic year which has resulted in it appointing additional key personnel, winning a duo of awards including an ACQ5 Global Award, launching a new website and moving to a higher placing amongst the Prolific North’s Top 50 PR Agencies for 2018.

Brexit deal or no deal, the current economic challenges have been met head on at Allotts with an expansion strategy designed to support the future vision of the business. The first of the key appointments is new business development manager Christian Shepherd who has been appointed to explore fresh and existing markets at home and abroad.

Shepherd, a shareholder and descendant of the founder of Shepherd Building Group, comes with a solid background gained from business development work in a number of sectors including construction and hire, commercial property, facilities management, finance and computer software industries. His objective will be to build on the agency’s achievements and further strengthen the firm’s market share in its key sectors.

The firm is also delighted to welcome Evan Thomas as digital assistant. He will help to fulfil the company’s national and international potential and brings excellent digital skills and fresh perspective to the business. He will be working alongside Allotts’ team of digital marketers, with responsibility for boosting clients’ social media presence, emailer and newsletter creation and distribution, website SEO and other digital disciplines.

The new appointments are a strategic move to support the business’s expansion plans by broadening its existing skill sets and underpinning further diversification as it looks to increase its presence on the global stage with its forward-looking philosophy of ‘PR and Marketing Without Frontiers.’

Allotts’ Managing Director, Philip Allott explained: “No company can afford to stand still during the Brexit uncertainty and the addition of Christian and Evan to our team makes sure we capitalise on new opportunities at home and abroad. They have already had a positive and dynamic impact on the business thanks to a can-do attitude and a commitment to deliverables which always characterises Allotts’ client services.”

The successful appointments come hot on the heels of a winning streak for Allotts. The company is delighted to be named as a winner in the ACQ5 Global Awards 2018 with the UK B2B PR and Marketing Consultancy of the Year accolade as well as being nominated as a finalist in the ‘Brand Yorkshire Business Awards’ and ranked amongst the Prolific North’s Top 50 PR Agencies for 2018.

The agency delivers 360° international marketing services – providing business to business (B2B) and public sector consultancy specialising in strategic, targeted marketing support encompassing public relations, social media and digital marketing. Thanks to recent investments in technology, the firm can reach out across the world to bring its in-depth expertise across multiple B2B sectors to boardrooms from Harrogate to Hobart or London to LA.
