Hamilton appoints new sales director

Leading UK label manufacturer, Hamilton Adhesive Labels, has strengthened its sales team with the announcement of a new sales director, Austin Schwarz.

Schwarz joins Hamilton from Coveris UK, where he spent seven years in sales including four years as Category Sales Director for fresh produce and consumer goods.

In his role at Hamilton, Schwarz is tasked with driving growth in new market sectors, as well as progressing business success at existing customers.

Hamilton Managing Director, Chris Marsh, said: “We are incredibly excited by the appointment of Austin as Sales Director. We are confident that he brings with him a wealth of experience, capability and leadership that will greatly enhance our business and take us in new directions to cement Hamilton Adhesive Labels’ position as the leading label manufacturer in the UK.

“Austin’s experience at Coveris means that he is the perfect candidate to fill the role and we are highly confident he will be with us for a very long time.”

Commenting on his appointment, Schwarz said: “My appointment comes at an incredibly fascinating time for Hamilton. The company has made significant investment in capacity and label manufacturing capability in recent months, laying the foundations for the exciting opportunities that are ahead of us.

"With the company's commitment to operational and service excellence, I'm looking forward to creating a new strategic direction that is both exciting and complementary to the investments Hamilton has made over the course of the past 18 months. With key markets in mind, strengthening and further-developing our customer portfolio and delivering new label innovations will be core focus areas for me."
