Organisers of Maintec, the only event dedicated to the UK’s maintenance, reliability and asset management, have today announced that free visitor registration for the 2019 edition of the event is now open.

Maintec, which returns to The NEC, Birmingham from the 30-31 October 2019, has already received a huge amount of industry backing and boasts an impressive line-up of new suppliers and manufacturers who have already confirmed they will be taking part in the event.

Support for the event includes some of the most highly-regarded international organisations including new event partner Emerson, the global manufacturer and automation solution specialist, who announced their support back in May.

Gary Ingram, Sales Manager UK & Ireland – Reliability Solution at Emerson Automation Solutions comments: “We are delighted to be attending Maintec 2019 as Event Partner, the event will provide a fantastic forum to share our latest digital technologies with the industry.”

Event supporters the Society of Operations Engineers will be providing official CPD approval for the 15+ hours of free technical and practical seminar sessions that will be available for visitors.

Bruce McGill, CEO of the Society of Operations Engineers said: “As there are many shows in the calendar throughout the year, it is reassuring to know that this one is the only one dedicated to the maintenance engineering community. Members of our own Society, as mindful with their time as operations engineers are, value professional development very highly, but are specific about how they want to conduct it.

“The quality on offer at Maintec is why we approved this CPD programme last year and will do so again in October.”

The British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) will also be again supporting Maintec.

Ian Crellin, Marketing Manager, BSIF said: ‘We are delighted to once again be partnering with Maintec which we see as the key event within the maintenance, reliability and asset management industry. The ability to meet with industry professionals and learn about their needs in a safety aspect is vital for BSIF to be able to help and guide all industry sectors that have a reliance upon good safety practices and enables us  to push forward the message that good safety is good for business.”
