FTA, the business organisation which represents the logistics sector, has strengthened its membership support team with the appointment of Ray Marshall as Senior Transport Advisor within the FTA’s Member Advice Centre (MAC).

 

As part of the expert team within the MAC, Marshall will respond to member enquiries on road transport compliance and operation on a day to day basis, by phone, letter, e-mail and face-to-face meetings. In addition, his new role includes providing regular updates for FTA’s compliance guides and the FTA Yearbook of Road Transport Law, as well as providing regular contributions to the Compliance Advice section in FTA’s membership magazine, Freight & Logistics.

 

Previously, Marshall was an operations manager for a large removals and storage company based in Leamington Spa and brings 18 years of experience in logistics, distribution and warehousing to the role.
