SATO will showcase its latest Auto-ID tracking and tracing solutions for the logistics industry at LogiMAT (hall 6, stand 6F09), from 8th to 10th March 2016 in Stuttgart, Germany.

To help logistics businesses across Europe improve efficiency and traceability, the company – together with its partners ID.SYS and Eikona – will present complete Auto-ID and RFID solutions ranging from printers and RFID readers to telematics and software applications. Highlights will include a prototype of SATO’s new 4 inch desktop printer and the innovative NX series of high performance universal industrial printers. Furthermore, the company will present the RFID-ready printer module S84-ex and wireless printers for mobile labelling applications.

System integrator and software specialist Eikona will be presenting its new android based logistics app and telematics solution Habitat Black, which is designed to make the life of truck drivers and logistics companies easier by capturing, controlling and optimising relevant data and processes such as POD, GPS tracking, status updates or barcode scans.

ID.SYS’ latest complementary handheld and tablet PCs – including the new Gladius 5 series of rugged moisture and dust proof Arbor phablets – combine smartphone functionality with a 1D and 2D barcode reader as well as a RFID and NFC reader.

“LogiMAT is a great opportunity for us to present our innovative tracking and tracing solutions to the European logistics market,” says Detlev Müller, General Manager DACH, SATO Europe. “We offer a broad portfolio of versatile RFID and barcode printers and, together with our partners ID.SYS and Eikona, we provide complete RFID labelling and packaging solutions to help businesses increase efficiency, optimise internal and external logistics processes and most notably cut costs.”

SATO’s S-series RFID-ready printer modules enable businesses to fulfil the most demanding labelling tasks within a production chain. Robust and easy to maintain, these OEM print engines are designed to achieve unmatched performance and usability.

SATO’s universal CL4NX and CL6NX plug and play RFID printers are quick to install and set up and can be easily integrated in existing systems thanks to their auto-detect function. They can handle a wide range of media including labels of different sizes, and feature a wide head opening for easy media installation, with no ribbon core needed.
