Southern Springs and Pressings celebrated another year of record profits, with pre-tax profits increasing by 20 per cent in 2017. The spring manufacturer begins its events programme with exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing 2018 in FIVE Farnborough, Hampshire next month.
To continue to evolve with demand, Southern Springs and Pressings has increased its in-house press facilities to a total of nine machines, including two brand new CNC Power Presses. As well as a full installation of a new IT system, allowing the company to keep track of all customer orders and stock levels, from multiple devices throughout the factory.
Tim Page, managing director, commented: “The new machinery and IT system are part of our plans to continue to develop Southern Springs and Pressings.”
Those at Southern Manufacturing 2018 will be able to further discuss the upgrades implemented in the New Forest-based factory, as well as learn more about the bespoke springs and components they can design and manufacture.
Southern Springs and Pressings will continue their partnership with leading exhibition specialists, Quadrant2Design, to successfully exhibit at the show. Their partnership comes from a successful two years of exhibiting together at Southern Manufacturing.
