STANLEY Security, one of the UK’s leading security providers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gboyega Obafemi, known as Femi, as general manager – managing director for Great Britain. Femi will be responsible for accelerating growth in Great Britain and driving STANLEY Security’s XaaS product strategy.
Femi has an impressive career to date with leading multi-national names, such as Philips, Siemens, GE, Toshiba-Carrier and Watts Water Technologies in UK, Europe and Japan, bringing with him significant commercial and operational experience. Femi joins STANLEY Security from Johnson Controls – Hitachi where he held the role of managing director UK & Ireland, delivering continuous improvement and world class customer service in both B2B and B2C.
Femi may be new to the security industry, but his skills are readily transferable; his extensive business management experience includes marketing, sales and supply chain in commercial and industrial manufacturing and distribution. He has a passion for leading and transforming businesses, driving change and building relationships, be that internally, with suppliers or with customers, whom he always places at the core of his business strategy.

Femi has a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration and is a Chartered Engineer.
