The deadline for the British Saftey Industry Federation Safety Awards 2012 is nearing and organisers have urged companies to make sure they submit their entries by close of business on Wednesday 14th March.
The BSIF is a leading trade body within the safety industry with over 160 members including manufacturers distributors, test houses, certification bodies, safety professionals and service providers. The Safety Awards 2012 aim to promote the importance of product innovation and underline the highest standards of excellence within occupational health and safety.
The awards are up for grabs in three categories:
• Product Innovation – new and innovative products that contribute to improvements in occupational safety and health
• Service – award for companies in the safety field offering exceptional and innovative service solutions
• Safety Excellence (open to BSIF members only) – recognises major improvements in occupational safety created in 2011/2012
All companies are entitled to enter up to three products for the Product Innovation Award as well as submitting an entry for the Service Awards and a case study for the Safety Excellence Awards. The first two awards are open to any organisation providing occupational health and safety products and services.
David Lummis, Chief Executive Officer at the BSIF, comments: “Year upon year, the BSIF is proud to host these highly coveted awards.
It is hoped that within the three categories, there is an opportunity for every health and safety company to participate allowing them a chance to be publicly recognised within the industry. I wish all entrants the best of luck and for those companies who still want to enter remember to get your entries in as soon as possible.”
The finalists and winners will be revealed at a on the first day of Safety & Health Expo on 15th May 2012. BSIF
