EEF, the UK manufacturers’ organisation, has chosen TÜV SÜD Product Service as its preferred supplier for machinery and equipment safety technical support for members.
EEF helps over 2,000 members to ensure that they meet their regulatory commitments and business objectives. Members of the EEF include BAE, Land Rover and Rolls Royce.
TÜV SÜD will support EEF members with their machinery safety compliance and legislative requirements by providing technical advice, as well as CE marking and training services. This will include the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), which requires machinery owners to carry out risk assessments to ensure that equipment can be used without putting end-users at risk.
