UKWA (United Kingdom Warehousing Association) is taking part in a series of e-commerce related events this autumn, as the voice of the logistics sector on this vitally important mega trend.

CEO Peter Ward will first be speaking at the Omni-Channel Conference, which takes place on 16th-17th September 2015 at Dexter House in central London. He will be delivering the opening address of the ‘Final Mile Delivery Session’, which will start Day Two of the conference. Joining Peter Ward for this session will be Mark Millar – author of ‘Global Supply Chain Ecosystems’, and one of ‘Asia’s Top 50 Influencers in Supply Chain and Logistics’. Together they will examine how the demands of omni-channel have changed the game in terms of route to market and route to customer; they will look at the most pressing challenges of the twenty-first century presented by omni-channel growth; and they will discuss developing strategies for competitive advantage in an increasingly complex and connected world.

UKWA will then be taking the message of how its members are well placed to handle e-commerce challenges to eTail Delivery, which is being held at Hotel Russell in London on 6th-7th October 2015. At this senior-level omni-channel fulfilment and delivery event, over 200 delegates are expected to take part in interactive events, debates and structured networking. Peter Ward will be one of over 40 speakers from top brands such as John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Dune, Lego, Asda, AO, Not On The High Street, Vodafone and Clarks.

On 13th October, UKWA will be discussing all of these issues with delegates at the eDelivery Conference, where the Association will have a stand. This board-level delivery event, which is being held at the Novotel Hotel in Hammersmith, will host discussions on trends including operation complexities and logistics and distribution solutions.??
