Ulrike Ramos has been appointed as Head of Customer Support at ELOKON Group, the international supplier of safety and warning systems for materials handling trucks. She has extensive experience in customer service and will manage a team of 25 from the company HQ in Tornesch near Hamburg.

Ramos previously worked as a customer liaison manager in the German market for an American supplier of audiological equipment and her technical and international background will help to advance ELOKON’s planned expansion into  new European markets. She takes over from Jürgen Ladiges who although retiring from full time work, will continue to work for ELOKON in a consultative role. Ramos will build on the framework Ladiges has put in place.

“Customer service is the lynchpin for any company, and my priority will be to carry on from Jürgen, who has been instrumental in ensuring a smooth handover, to not only meet customer expectations but to exceed them”, said Ramos. “I will also be looking at any new strategies and initiatives that could even further improve the seamless day to day running of all related aspects such as quality control, prompt shipping schedules, production and logistics, whether on-site at customer premises or from the office.”

ELOKON managing director Alexander Glasmacher: “We are committed to offering the most innovative and quality safety solutions for intralogistics whilst ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Therefore, we are delighted to announce the hiring of Ulrike Ramos to succeed Jürgen Ladiges in heading up ELOKON’s customer support teams. Ulrike’s leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills will be an asset to our company as we grow internationally, and of course more importantly to our growing client base.”
